Local anesthesia in dentistry
The Lecture on “Local Anesthesia in outpatient dentistry:
Safety Matters” took place in the Scientific-Research Institute of Dentistry.
The lecture was held by UNIDENT. Dozens of specialists interested in
improvement of their professional level of anesthesia application completed the
training. D.M. Prof. Svyatoslav Pavlovich Sysolyatin, presented the
review of the modern anesthetics capabilities, as well as the side effects for
use of local anesthesia.
On the basis of the scientific findings and personal
experience the lecturer made the comparative analysis of different medical
products used for anesthetization, so that on the basis of this data it was
possible to choose the medical product for each specific medical case. The
admission to the lecture was free, all of the participants got coupons for the
purchase of UNIDENT anesthetic drugs under special terms and conditions.

In the MedPharm CUP arena football tournament the UNIDENT team played a beautiful game. Having outflanked the opponents in the group stage, the team left the group as the leader by playoff. After the confident win in the last sixteen, we, unfortunately, could not pass to the ¼. In the tight competition UNIDENT lost to the Novartis team with a score of 3:2.

Master-class on the System of SGS dental implants: peculiarities of a surgical protocol took place in Saint-Petersburg with the assistance of UNIDENT within the framework of MEGADENT LLC training program. The training was planed in view of great interest in the SGS Swiss Implant System at the request of surgeons-implantologists and orthopedist.

The Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, with support of UNIDENT Company, held the Academic Competition in therapeutic dentistry for students where teams of 15 higher educational institutions from six countries took part. The Academic Competition not only revealed the strongest students, but also became a platform for exchange of experience both among students and among teachers of educational institutions.
