Opening of the Unident Stomatology Medical Center

A new Unident Stomatology clinic has been opened in Bobrov Pereulok. The medical center has proved to be a unique project, not only for the chain of dental clinics but also among Moscow clinics in general. Two storeys of a building in the very center of Moscow house a general dental clinic with implantology, dental surgery, anesthesiology and fully-featured in-patient departments. The medical center in Bobrov Pereulok has significantly extended the range of service offered by Unident clinics.

— Now our patients do not have to go to outside institutions and in-patient hospitals, says Unident Stomatology President Igor Gavasheli. Here, they can have diagnostic examinations and find comprehensive specialized assistance, including a whole range of dental surgery, complex orthognathic surgery and bone grafting services. The medical center also offers treatment under general anesthesia, not only in case of complex operations but also during the most ordinary procedures such as dental extraction or implantation.

Dental treatment under general anesthesia is in high demand in children’s dentistry because not all children can stay calm when going to the dentist or because in some cases the child needs combination treatment: treatment of tooth caries, treatment of canals and tooth extraction. By using general anesthesia we can avoid psychological traumas or overcome the child’s old fears associated with a visit to the dentist. Our anesthesiologists are a professional team from one of the leading Russian medical centers — the Sklifosovsky Institute. The experience of specialists together with the latest equipment guarantee complete safety of anesthesiological procedures to the clinic’s patients. For example, equipment for endotracheal anesthesia is available only at large specialized in-patient hospitals, and Unident is the first private clinic in Moscow offering such equipment to the clients. This equipment offers extensive opportunities to anesthesiologists and provides less painful anesthesia recovery for patients. As for diagnostics, the clinic has a computerized tomograph allowing making a complete examination of the patients and preparing them even for the most complex operations related to dental surgery. People often do not trust private clinics when they need professional treatment of high qualification and prefer state centers that carry out research and where specialists have recognized authority. This choice is understandable and justified. So, when plotting the project of a new Unident clinic, the chain’s management sought, in the first place, to attract leading specialists. Specialists working in Unident have the same qualifications as doctors working at departments of public medical institutions – doctors of science, professors. They agreed to work in Unident because they are sure it is a reliable clinic where they can securely practice medicine.
