Fred Rosenfeld: We truly offer the best quality stuff in the world
UNIDENT
first presented Unicryl brand (acrylic teeth for removable dental prosthetics)
at Dental Expo. We discussed the new product with Fred Rosenfeld, Unident Trade
Manager for Acrylic Teeth Production. He spent every day of the expo at the
stand of UNIDENT talking to Russian professionals.
Apparent advantages of the new acrylic teeth combined with Fred’s
professionalism and charisma contributed greatly to the successful launch of
the sales of Unicryl.
— Fred, is this your first visit to
Moscow?
— No, I have been here before, doing
marketing research, studying the dental and acrylic market, comparing prices
and properties, so that our product would comply with standards of your market
exactly. On the whole, I’d say that the Russian consumer market almost as huge
as in the U.S., and very open.
— The brand Unicryl is little known in Russia so
far. Please tell us about the product.
— As you
know, our companies are engaged
— Just how durable are
they?
— The end consumers, dental technicians and dentists may
rest assured – the composition of the product will not change for three to five
years. It would be safe to say we truly offer the best quality stuff in the
world, because we had done tremendous work prior to moving to the market. The
only thing we lack here in Russia is recognition, because this is a brand new
product on your market.
Anyway, I think things will change very soon and the professionals will appreciate the Unicryl and the ease it offers them. Our teeth allow offering the most convenient prosthetic solutions to the most diverse patients. Most importantly, the teeth have excellent esthetic properties.
Anatomically and morphologically, they are very close to natural teeth, including the shapes and functionality. In all, you get teeth of natural shapes, with a wide range of shades and natural occlusion.
— Where and how are they
manufactured?
— Unident Trade has been making
artificial teeth at its own factories for over 50 years. We make products that
are recognized worldwide. The company, including the production division,
employs about 700 persons. I would point out again, that we comply with all
international norms. Every year we sell millions of teeth around the world.
— What do you think of Dental Expo? Can you
compare it to any big international dental
forums?
— Luckily, I have an opportunity to
travel a lot, visiting exhibitions in various cities around the world. What
struck me first here in Moscow was your modern and complex dental market.
UNIDENT stand at the Dental Expo is like any best stand at the
international IDS forum, be it in Germany, Chicago, Paris or Singapore. That’s
a very nice surprise indeed.
— I have been in dental business for over 40 years, and I made up my mind about specialization early on, back in the laboratory. Therefore, I can deem myself well cognizant when it comes to teeth, acrylic powders and specifics of various dental markets. I had an opportunity to visit a great many dental factories around the world and now, working in Unident Trade, I can rely on my personal experience.
— You dedicate so much time to job. Would it be
safe to say that it has become your hobby?
— This is a very
special type of business. My friends from other sectors cannot boast such good
relations with their colleagues. As I have said, I am a very lucky one, because
I have many partners in dental industry whom I can call real friends. Those who
don’t know this business keep asking me, if I ever get tired from traveling all
the time. I explain that I actually enjoy it. No matter when or where I have to
go, I always know I will meet my friends there.
— May people dream of a job where personal and
professional interests coincide.
— Oh yes, people offer their
assistance to me every day. So far, I don’t need any assistants. I am totally
content with my independent lifestyle.
Back
